[Enterprise Switch] How to reset switch to factory default? – Xizhi (Demo)

Which situations need this topic: Switch can power on but don't have traffic or forward / switch booting abnormal / function fault.

ECS4620 series, ECS4510 series, ECS4120 series, ECS4100 series, ECS5520 series, ECS4530 series, ECS2100 series, ECS2110 series, ECS3510 series.

CLI reset

User Access Verification
Username: admin
Password:
      CLI session with the ECS4100-12Tv2 is opened.
      To end the CLI session, enter [Exit].

Console#configure
Console(config)#boot system config:Factory_Default_Config.cfg
Success.
Console#reload
System will be restarted. Continue <y/n>? y
Restarting system.

In the CLI, enter boot system config:Factory_Default_Config.cfg command to reset default on your switch and reboot to effective the configuration.

Web-GUI reset

Step 1: Login Web server then into System > File > Action: Set Start-Up page, set Factory_Default_Config.cfg to next booting.

Step 2: Into System > Reset page, reboot switch to effective the configuration.
