1. Evaluation Board Setup
Each Xizhi chip is shipped with an optional evaluation board (if requested at purchase).
Place the evaluation board in an ESD-protected workstation.
Insert the chip into the designated socket, ensuring correct orientation.
Connect the board to your host PC via the provided USB-C or PCIe interface.
2. Software & Driver Installation
Download the latest drivers and software development kit (SDK) from the Xizhi Support Portal.
Install drivers before connecting the evaluation board.
Confirm installation by checking device recognition in your operating system’s hardware manager.
3. Recommended Test Conditions
Ambient temperature: 20–25 °C
Power supply: Low-noise, regulated, ripple < 1 mV
Signal integrity: Use shielded coaxial cables for high-frequency tests
Thermal management: For long test runs, ensure active cooling of the evaluation board
4. Data Collection Best Practices
Use Xizhi SDK logging functions to capture raw performance metrics.
Record environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, equipment model).
Store logs in a secure server with batch and chip serial number for traceability.
Troubleshooting
Device not recognized: Reinstall drivers and restart the host PC.
Unexpected power draw: Check for socket misalignment.
Data inconsistency: Verify clock synchronization across instruments.
