If your Xizhi chip is overheating during testing, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue.
1. Confirm Basic Setup
Verify the chip model and batch number.
Ensure the ambient lab temperature is within the recommended range (20–25°C).
Check that the chip is mounted correctly with a secure heatsink or cooling solution.
2. Run Thermal Diagnostics
Use the built-in diagnostic tool to monitor chip temperature:
xizhi_diag --thermalRecord the maximum temperature observed (°C).
Note the duration before overheating occurs.
3. Review Power and Cooling
Power Supply: Ensure your regulated power supply matches the voltage/current specifications.
Cooling Method: Check fan or liquid cooling efficiency, and replace thermal paste if needed.
4. If the Issue Persists
Please contact Xizhi Support with the following details:
Chip model + batch number
Max temperature reached and time to overheating
Cooling setup and lab conditions
Diagnostic output from
xizhi_diag --thermal
Our engineering team will guide you through advanced checks or arrange further analysis if a hardware fault is suspected.
